Sure, you may think it’s easy for me to sing the praises about Amsoil Championship Off-Road due to my series involvement – but make no mistake. I am a race fan first and foremost. With that comes my tendency to be a critic – within reason, of course.
I’ve been working around and with the midwest-based off-road series since 2016 in one capacity or another, be it as a videographer, photographer, marketer, and nowadays, broadcaster and producer. I’ve followed the sport for longer than that, so I’m fully aware of the sport’s volatile history up highs and lows.
Trust me when I say we’re witnessing great things. Just watch a race and marvel at the caliber of racing and drivers we’re seeing.

It’s a great time to be a short course fan. Which is why I’m especially pumped for my friends Jeffrey and Lyle Keeble and Tito LaBine (Impulse Media) and their new project, Rush. A three-part series documenting the PRO4 class of 2021. This is going to be insanely good.

If you follow Off-Road racing and a few of its biggest names (Keegan Kincaid, Kyle Kleiman, the Greaves, etc.), you’re probably familiar with their video work. A video series like this is what our sport needs – to showcase the badassery of short course off-road racing to the masses. To give viewers a glimpse of the drama, personalities, and stories from on-track and in the pits.
After each race weekend, the boys throw a mic on me and ask me to recap the weekend. I’m stoked for this because oftentimes much of my homework, quotes, and observations don’t make it into the live stream or CBS broadcast. I’m proud that these guys trust me to help carry the storylines throughout the season.
